  • On the prowl for family bowling and what do we spy - why, this little gem tucked around the corner from restaurants and shopping off of Pearl Road and not far from the Square in Medina. As another reviewer noted, the place lacks curb appeal, but what's inside is an impressive, totally renovated bowling heaven. It's clean, staff is friendly, shoes are new and everything works! (I've reserved the 5th star only because I have yet to check out the bathrooms or the food.) And it gets better. Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. til noon, it's only $5 per player - unlimited! We got there around 10 a.m. the first time and the place was practically packed. Four guys in the lane next to us were having a grand time (one had 8 strikes in 10 frames!) and were as entertaining as our game. The next time we arrived a little earlier (9:30) and were place in the "overflow" area (probably really the "un"-league area). Makes me think there is a line waiting for the doors to open at 9:00 a.m. Come to think of it, smelled like warm waffles cooking last Sunday morning. Maybe a Bowling & Breakfast affair is on the horizon.
