  • I was a little leery about trying this place out due to some of the dodgy reviews but I had a great lunch there the other day. This location is kind of a strip mall deal which doesn't have much curb side appeal but the food more than makes up for it. I shared a meat sampler platter with a friend of mine and it was served with two sides. We decided on the Blood sausage, steak and rotisserie chicken. The blood sausage was pretty unique tasting even though it kinda fell apart after I got into the casing a little ways. The steak was ordered medium rare and actually delivered medium rare which is great because most places seem to mess that part up. Lastly, the rotisserie chicken was seasoned very well and falling off the bones when it arrived. The chicken was none to dry either which made it very mouth watering. For side we had the spicy beans which were ok and the hand cut fries which were good, but not great. I did find the service to be a little on the slow side but when the food is so well prepared and off the hook delicious I'm more than happy to wait around a little longer for a meal. After it was all said and done between two of us we paid around 34$ (including tip) which was a little on the pricey side but the value was definitely there.
