  • I have to admit, my first to this restaurant was nothing special, but I think I just ordered the wrong thing. It was so unforgettable, I forgot what I ordered. The sampler plate, however, is the way to go. Chicken, ribs, and your choice of three other meats for $12.99. I chose hot links, lamb, and brisket. Wow! A VERY generous portion of all the meats and they were all awesome. Especially the lamb. It came with a little thing of mint sauce for the lamb, which once you get used to, is actually pretty tasty. I still think I prefer Honey Bear's beans, but Haps' beans are far from inferior. It's really just a matter of taste. All in all it was a great meal. Service is just ok... Every time I've been there, it seems like they have no patience for people staring at the menu deciding what to order even when the place is empty.
