  • Atmospheric, personable, quaint, off-to-the-side and full of character, Toast is a solid choice for intimate gatherings, date nights or a solo glass (bottle?!) of wine. The split levels and various rooms give it that "at home vibe." The Cottage Fries is the only thing I've had on the food menu. The salt and vinegar seasoning was as advertised, with the rich house aioli and the sweet tomato jam as the sauces. Took a little while to get the fries, but when it was discovered they were accidentally sent to another table, the bartender herself went back to the kitchen to expedite the process - a good testament to the friendly staff.
