| - So maybe you're wondering: "What's all the fuss and why is there always a line around the block?".
Do you like an exceptional meal that sticks out in your memory long after the last bite? So do all of those people in line. I promise, it's worth it, so get your spot in said line while you finish reading this review.
Gaucho is really first and foremost about the meat. I go for vegetarian options quite often, but I can't do that here. You only need to inhale the smoky, savory aroma that cloaks this establishment like an enchanted fog to get the idea.
I've tried several sandwiches over the years, including the Chory Pan and the Pollo, but the Rosemary Braised Beef is legend, and I keep going back to it. It's a perfect combination of flavors; notably, the marriage of rosemary and horseradish sauce.
On my last visit, I finally tried their empanadas and Humita (corn pudding). Delightful, although I still stand by the sandwiches.
Pro Tip (ha!) - Go at an off time! I've gone either right at 11AM or between 2 and 4, and the wait is incredibly shorter. Just have an early or late lunch; let me reiterate, it is SO worth it!
