  • Let me start off by saying that I love comedy clubs and I wish I had the opportunity to go to the Comedy Spot. The problem I have is with the way that handled or should I say lack of handling a simple mix up. I purchased tickets online because the site I went on showed that they were on Tatum Blvd, which is about 20 minutes away from my house. When I was taken to the site after the purchase I was shown an address that is approximately 45-50 minutes from my house. Of course this is not the end of the world but on a Saturday I would have liked to have a couple of cocktails while there and not have to spend 100+ dollars on a cab. I have tried to call this company and left a voicemail with them the day of the purchase. I also emailed them and I have yet to receive a call or response of any kind. I know for a fact that they resold those tickets because it states it on their automated message. I asked them in many forms to refund the amount, knowing that they would be able to resell electronic tickets. If they are not willing to accomodate me that is their right, but I do not know why they would not take action on this since I made them aware of the mix up 10 minutes after I purchased the tickets. Why they would refuse to refund $26 to a person who frequents comedy clubs regularly is beyond me, but it shows the business owners mentality which clearly is not keeping customers. I wish they were more accommodating because I frequent many comedy clubs and entertain clients and friends.
