  • Went into pep boys (because they were the only place open on sunday) to ask about getting a new brake switch for my truck. Come in just to find out that the price was going to be $156.71 for the switch which I thought was just absolutely ridiculous for a $20 part. The labor charge alone was over $100. Really? $100 to change out 1 tiny switch. I've gone here before to fix my drum brakes and it was a decent price but now they're just over charging people. Couple of days later, called brake masters and got quoted $70 for everything out the door. The one good thing I have to say about pep boys is their staff was friendly, so if you have the money by all means I know pep boys does a good job just for a high price.
