  • We came here tonight to try the new place in town and we were excited! Wait time was estimated at 20 minutes but took around 30 which isn't a deal breaker for a Friday night. I'd recommend planning to wait if you're wanting to try it. We sat and were greeted promptly by our server but she was not knowledgable about the menu and said their was no special tonight because the kitchen had made a "major mistake today". Awkward start but we had the drink and food order ready since we had chosen while waiting. Drinks came but we had to wait 15 minutes for my husband's beer.... And then our food just never came. 45 minutes after we sat down the server came back to ask what we had ordered. We ended up leaving because we had a 3 year old in tow and were over sitting for almost 90 minutes with no sign of food in sight. Anyone with kids knows the nightmare of a hungry kid and extended sitting still. After chatting with the manager who was a total rockstar and seemed completely on her game we realized this was a server issue BUT I spent years in the restaurant business and a server without experience is not equipped to work at a restaurant with a detailed menu and just opening kinks. We may try again for lunch and see if we have a better experience. I'll update if we do.
