We googled diners, dives and drive ins in Vegas and Lola's came up. We did not have a reservation but it was 5 pm on a Saturday so not busy yet and we got seated right away.
We ordered the crab cake for appetizer. It was fair. We were pretty sure that there was just mayo as the sauce in the crab cake. I don't care for mayonnaise so this made it not as "appetizing" for me. Was surprised there wasn't a cool, handmade sauce on it
For our meal, we ordered the catfish and grits. It was a good portion size which is great because we always split our meals at restaurants. The catfish was seasoned well, on the spicier, yet flavorful side. The grits were amazing and yummy. We didn't care the the dry, grilled "garlic" Bread that didn't taste like garlic at all.
