It's really hard to find an experienced stylist who knows how to work on blondes. So if you're blonde and reading this, search no further!!
I had been going to my girl at Toni and Guy for over two years. Very loyal to my girl. And although I really like her and she's the top colorist, it was always a hit or miss. Sometimes when I asked her to foil in a low light, it was what a had wanted; blonde hair with a darker blonde lowlight for added depth and dimension. However, this last time my hair looked like circa 2003 chunky zebra highlights. Super ashy. Im tired of every other time having to go back in to have her fix it and damage my hair more. That was my last straw. Time to troll Yelp until I found someone older than me and with lots of experience with blondes!
Paul was awesome. He's been doing hair since the 80's!! It took some time weaving in and cutting out the chunky darker hair to break up such heavy highlights. Paul wasn't pushing every other product on me too! He listened and we went over a game plan not just for this visit, but for future goals. He told me my girl was using the wrong type of developer and over processed my hair.. no wonder it's been so fried!
Paul is all about restoring hair. It's also refreshing he is a talented stylist as well as colorist.
