  • So they updated a couple of things at The Bank. They turned the freebie tables that were to the left and right of the DJ booth into actual reserved tables. :( I seriously miss being able to chill up top and put my drinks down, take my killer heels off, and people-watch from above. They also added some railings for the go-go dancers to hold onto while they're dancing. Makes me wonder if there was some sort of accident or something within the last year that caused them to be put in. As for the music on Saturday nights, they really do have something for everyone, like Journey, Bon Jovi, Neil Diamond, hip-hop that's currently on the radio rotation, and even some Miley Cyrus (big WTF?! I know). The people-watching is the best part. Spotted a woman with a white boa, carrying a rubber chicken and an Evel Knievel-esque guy with a disco ball helmet and cape. Who knows what other kinds of characters you'll find at The Bank? P.S. If you stay at Vdara and know you wanna party it up at The Bank, pay a visit to the podium in front of the club during the day and ask for some passes (free for women, reduced admission for men). Kenny hooked my boyfriend and me up with Vdara VIP passes. He just gave us his business card, told us to go to the concierge back at Vdara, and the rest was history. My boyfriend acted as a good samaritan and gave away the original passes we got to some lucky folks who were in line before us.
