| - I've seen all the amusement park shows, I've read all the history, I never knew I'd get to visit this venerated park, let alone get a chance to see a few of their Halloween attractions. Yet, due to the Legendary haunt tour, I did just that.
First, Kennywood Park is absolutely WONDERFUL, quaint and a place I need to go to when it's open in the summer time. Talk about coasters? Yeah I need to go there.
They let us go through one of the Haunts, Voodoo Bayou, which was only partially operational, so we could get a look at the maze set up and a few of their actors, which were pretty fun. Then we go to go through their dark ride and the fun house. Both of which were fun things to do. Very different from what we experience, the dark ride was much like the Buzz Lightyear's shoot out game at Dizney, but harder to shoot. lol.
The Noah's Ark Fun House was cool. It's been AGES since Ive been through one like this, I LOVED it. I know they don't exist in high quantity any more and that's a shame. Those who got a chance to look at the engine works said it's pristine, and complicated, considering that it's a 70 year old mechanisim that's AMAZING.
They even catered lunch for us, which makes it pretty special! Thanks Kennywood! You guys were awesome hosts!
