Went here on a Saturday night where the hostess graciously lead us to our reserved table. Our server was heedless yet informative.
What we ordered:
+ California roll: made with blue crab and authentic sushi rice
+Otoro: tasty however chefs special sauce masked the taste of the fish
+Spider roll: Best spider roll in town for the crispy texture, and authentic tasting sushi rice
+ Black cod butter lettuce: tasty but tiny portion
-Rib eye sukiyaki with Foie Gras: Salty soup, additional $14 for an inch size of Foie Gras
- Akadashi miso: salty, served in a mini soup bowl with large spoon
-Tiger roll: stale shrimp tempura, tuna topping was not seasoned with spice, not topped with eel sauce, rice was the only good thing
-Tuna and yellow tail nigiri: ordered with chef special sauce which we don't recommend because the sauce masked the taste of the fish
The only worthy thing here was the rice--it's how sushi rice should taste, rice to vinegar ratio was perfection. Overall, the cons outweighed the pros so we will not return nor do we recommend this place.
