  • I stopped by this Godiva, inside the Fashion Show Mall, with my cousin after a day of impromptu shopping. There's no doubt about it: Godiva is a powerhouse when it comes to chocolates. I don't think I've ever had chocolate quite as rich, or as flavorful as Godiva's. I decided to treat myself and ordered a hazelnut crunch truffelata and got a few truffles (and claimed my monthly free piece). The truffelata is basically a shake infused with your choice of truffle. The truffelata I had was basically liquid gold -- it's the type of drink where you can't have "just one sip." The taste was rich; a perfect combination of sweet and nutty. You could compare the taste to Nutella or Ferrero Rocher, but the taste of this was slightly richer in flavor. What better way to combat the desert heat AND satisfy your sweet tooth than by trying the liquid version of your favorite truffle classics?
