| - Walked in with an armful of clothes to be laundered, Regular wear, nothing out of the ordinary. No exotic stains, mostly just summer wear and wrinkles. Walked out with same armful of dirty clothing. I called before I went to make sure they were open. It was blazing hot in the establishment bc there was no AC. The (sweaty) associate came to greet me. I looked around, no price list anywhere. I asked if they had one.
The answer was no.
I laid out the items to drop off, how much for jackets? "$6.50 approximately."
Approximately? What does that even mean? .
I can give you an idea of what it is going to cost. I am baffled at this concept.
I laid out 4 jackets, 3 pairs of pants, a jumpsuit and a blouse. She jotted it all down on the receipt paper, told me the "estimated price but that it could change" for each took my name, number and started to hand me the itemized list. However there was no price per item, no total cost. I again inquire, can you just write down what you mentioned, in case you are not here when I pick this up. This whole approximate cost thing makes me leery. She asked if there was a problem, I said well I just want to know the price since you do not have a price list, most cleaners places have price lists.
Her response was why don't you take it to where you normally go then. My response was I just moved here, but I am happy to take my business elsewhere. I grabbed my stuff and left.
