  • I've been a fan of Fleming's for a long time, but I think I'm done eating in the main dining room. Ate there with the husband last night, and my NY was so full of fat and gristle, I had to send it back. They quickly brought me out a new one -- too quickly. It hadn't rested and bled all over my plate. Plus this one was filled with fat and gristle too! I think they must save the worst cuts for their pre-fixe meals, which is what I ordered. So stay away from those I guess, even though they seem like a good deal. My meal also came with roasted brussel sprouts. I LOVE roasted brussel sprouts, but these were terrible. Horribly over seasoned and flavored with something so terrible, I spit one out into my napkin and husband did the same. Husband had the Wagyu NY and it was really good--should be for $57 for only a steak. We ate with the $40 deal, so that took the sting out of it, but still spend $140 for dinner which is just too much if you're not totally satisfied. Love their Happy Hour, though. You really can't beat it and we'll still be back for that. So, five stars for the awesome Happy Hour and wonderful Wagyu, but please stop serving crap cuts of meat for your pre-fixe deal and maybe investigate those horrid sprouts. Really disappointing. 3 stars at best.
