rev:text	This place is AWESOME!!! It's a laid back, casual, hole in the wall, neighborhood gem. LOVE that there is this historic looking little diner in the middle of what appears to be a residential area. Reminds me of the historic district back home. I picked my husband up from the airport at 11pm and thought, "Hey...why not?! Let's try it!". I'm SO glad we did. It was PACKED. I asked if they were always that busy and he said "Yep. Often busier. We use fresh ingredients and make good food. It makes a big difference." I felt like a newbie ordering, asking for a receipt, etc. (because they were so busy), but they were as patient as they could be. My husband and I both ordered biscuits and gravy to go. He ordered his with two over-medium fried eggs and I ordered mine with a side of brussel sprouts. While we were waiting, he had a soda and I had the Ginger Beer. The Ginger Beer was knock your socks off spicy, but I'm sure it's what saved me from a night full of tummy troubles (eating rich biscuits and gravy right before bed is probably not a good idea). It was definitely homemade and packed a TON of ginger punch. It will make your throat burn in a good way. The food was outstanding. The biscuits were sliced in half, toasted, and accompanied by the super thick, rich sausage gravy. For us, the gravy had a bit too much heat (excessive black pepper, perhaps cayenne...not sure), but...it was still VERY tasty and we both ate every bit. His eggs were perfect and my sprouts were fantastic with just the right amount of caramelization and oil/butter. We will definitely be back and often. :)
