| - My cat was really sick.. I looked the symptoms up on google and determined he had a uti, or something along those lines. I didn't know how serious it was then I read he could die so instead of waiting till Monday, it was Saturday I went here 3 am early Sunday.
I thought they were very nice. I thought they took care of my cat, he came back to me the drained his bladder and he was purring super happy and relaxed. They thought he had a blockage so I said ok they wanted to do blood work and other things and I didn't have the money.. Long story short.. They said they giving him a pain shot, a shot for fluids like electrolytes I guess and a urinalysis..ok, like I said he was fine after they expressed his bladder I figured he would be good. I didn't know, so late Sunday new started looking bad again.. SO, HERE'S, where the one star comes in... I call them, this is after I talked to my mom n she said did they give him medicine and I thought well that's a good idea...like I said I called them asked could I get some medicine at least for him... I called and was put on hold and when Ashley came back, she wasn't the vet but she said she talked to her and she remembered me..that she wouldn't give me a script for him.. 2 reasons.. 1st is that "2 many vets are giving drugs to animals" ?!? Is my cat gonna to vets across the state trying to get pills, maybe, but i don't think so. That makes no sense to me at all, I said it wouldn't hurt might as well all try, I don't have a grand for what you want to do, but no... The other reason is the urinalysis showed there wasn't an infection, which I guess I could actually understand that point, especially compared to the 1st one, even so I'd still try some medicine...
So they were no help, so Monday comes and cost thing I go to Banfield in petsmart. 2 the point.. They wanted to do a urinalysis I said vca did one they could fax the info,, banfield got the fax and they never did a urinalysis apparently, even though that was a reason went they wouldn't give me medicine for him, cause it wasn't an infection they said..so i had to pay for another one or they lied to me which could have killed my cat if I listened to them.. Anyways Banfield gave me medicine for him and guess what after 3 days he's better, hes fine.. All it took was some medicine which vca wouldn't give me..
Im trying to keep my pet alive and they lied to me.. wouldn't do what it took to help him.. Just needed medicine, they wanted to operate, take him to hospital keep him in hospital,, that should be the last step, try some antibiotics first,, "2 many vets are giving pets meds" wow..
I just think they suck. I can't believe they wouldn't give him meds.. It couldn't hurt right..
Bottom line they costed me extra money and lied to me, my cat could have died and he's a real good boy, he always lays with you, doesnt run away like most cats.. Vca on siebert Rd don't go there. That's my advice.
This review wasn't very focused and jumped around alot, thanks for making to the end.. I hope u listen to my advice about the vca. Go anywhere else.
