  • I have rented through multiple property management companies in my life and I have never had as much problem with a company as I had with Charlotte Homes and Rentals. First off, they do not get back to you when you contact them. It took about a week for them to get back to us to let us know our other applicant needed to apply. After they did, they told us no one else had applied for the property. So we were good to go right? No, they then called us the next day and told us there was another applicant and that they had priority!!?? This was deceitful and wrong on their part so now we are out $110 for our application fee and have no house a week from me starting my new job in Charlotte. They then attempted to help us find a new property through their company again. We found somewhere, I drove from Raleigh to see it and back in one day...we loved it. We attempted to set everything up and they ran our application again, everything seemed good and then when we were waiting to hear approval, which we had to reach out to them to get it!...(no accountability). Well we should have been good for the new place and everything ready but no! They told us the owner now wanted to take it off the market! What are the odds? I just have to say, no one use this company..they cannot help you find a place to save a life.
