  • Basically in love with going to this place! curry Zen gives me that warm feeling (no pun intended) that I can't get at many other places. My friends and I have been frequenting this place for almost a year now and I couldn't be happier that I was introduced to this location since. I'm not the pickiest eater but I love a good presentation and a good selection. This place however, is GREAT. They have adjusted their menu/style since I first started coming here and prior that I didn't believe the place could get any better. Their wait staff has changed over the course of time and I'm honestly happier about that. Their staff from the past couple of months are noticeably more attentive, friendlier, and I always get the vibe that they're happy to be here. As busy as it gets, I'm appreciative that the service never seems weary and gives the place such an amazing atmosphere. About the food: AWESOME. I always get the tofu katsu curry, with or without extras. This time I got 4pcs extra and I was super happy about this. Lately I've been ordering their jelly vodka.. And they're usually out of the berry option but the wonderful waitress suggested the Yuzu option. Tasted great! It's hard to find a place that knows how to pair their drinks with their food so well. Usually it's random and doesn't seem to fit. But I have the best time with their selection. Final thoughts are that I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend Japanese Curry Zen to anyone who is looking for a great dinner or lunch!
