  • The Last Brick Wall in Town The ComedyWorks is a Montreal institution, littered with comedic genius. I even heard their toilet paper rolls are made up of unused material found in the dressing room. The stage is barely off the floor, the comics have the audience alongside, free to be ridiculed should they tank...heck, you can even see the red light come on when someone is almost out of time or getting the hook. I was there recently, taking in Comedian Mike Wilmot(with my boy Abdul Butt opening...represent!) who put on an amazing show and said and I quote..."This is one of the last real comedy clubs"...coming from a seasoned comedian like Mike, it has to be true. Try and find another brick wall in town with that kinda pedigree. Waka Waka
