The Marquis at Northcross is a very nice community to live in. It's tucked away off 73 in Huntersville and is a very quiet, peaceful complex. The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we were apartment hunting and continue to be the same now that we live here. The prices are very good, especially compared to what we paid in NY. After looking at about five complexes and several homes to rent in the Huntersville/ Cornelius/ Concord areas, we decided to move in here.
On move-in day the apartment was clean and ready for us to move in. There were a few small things we noticed upon moving in (namely that two window screens had been bent out of frame) but the next day maintenance came in and took care of that.
Our biggest concern was that the apartment did not come with the washer/dryer like our previous place had. The hookups are there, so buying the machines was an expense we had to deal with once we moved in (they do rent them for $40 a month but we found a pair that cost us less in terms of annual cost (a $300 one-time cost to own as opposed to $480 annual to rent.)
I highly recommend checking this complex out if you're looking for an apartment in Huntersville. It was competitively priced so in the end the location and general feel of the apartment was what sold us on it.
