Holy hidden gem!
I love brunch, it intertwines two of my favorite things.. Breakfast and bloody marys! So, this past weekend I decided to take things up a notch and try out Dick's Hideaway, It had been bookmarked for awhile of places to try so I decided that Saturday was the day to cross this bad boy off my list.
Dick's is hidden, like no sign hidden. Not only is it hidden but it's small. I walked in and there was a good 30 minute wait for a seat at the bar... But I am a firm believer that good things come to those who wait... so I waited! My time finally came and I took my seat at the bar, ordered a bloody mary (delicious by the way!) and perused the Brunch menu (it's served until 4:00pm, so all of you hungover party goers are solid!).
I decided to order the Enchiladas (Shrimp & Green Chilie Pork with red and green sauce) served with 3 sunny side up eggs, beans and a flour tortilla on the side. My first bite was heavenly... The enchiladas were delicious and spicy, my eggs were perfectly cooked, the whole meal was seriously out of this world. And for $14.00 your can be sure you are getting your money worth (I had some serious leftovers!).
Dick's is officially on my brunch rotation! I can't wait to come by and try more of their dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
