  • Stillwater is a beautiful, elegant spa with incredible service and great hours to boot (opened till 10pm on Fridays). A girlfriend and I decided to do a spa night out after work and lounged comfortably feeling completely relaxed, unrushed, staying until about 9pm. When we went, it was quiet, with only a few other patrons in the waiting area with us and in the change rooms. We both received a facial which started promptly at 6pm and it was one of the best facials I've ever had. It was a Focused Facial which meant that each treatment is slightly customized to your skin type. Pros - The facial itself was incredible with the room large and spacious with heated beds I could just sink into and drift off. I had double cleansing; however, instead of the exfoliation, I received a light chemical peel. During the steam, I had a light scalp massage. - Extractions were amazing, thorough and gentle. I had some stubborn ones and they do use a lancet here if needed (some places restrict from using it) but I'm totally excited when I find a place that does it well - that's why you're going to a professional for a facial in the first place right? Since my skin was acting out, I had an extended 10min+ extraction period - Two facial massages with two different serums - I wish they had told me which products they were using but I was so relaxed, I didn't get a chance. She finished up with some light moisturizer. My friend had two serums, one facial massage as well as a hydrating mask (and received a hand massage during) for her customized treatment. - Enjoyed their large waiting room/co-ed lounge area that had a more formal seating area on one side and a large winding couch on the other side. This allowed for people to separate (those who want to chat can sit in the seated area) with those that prefer quiet on the sofas. Cons - Steam room wasn't working when we got there and an engineer had to be called. After about 15 mins of first trying to find someone, fiddle with it together with them, then finally conclude that someone else had to come, we finally passed on this - TV stations only have about 12 stations - Showers take a few minutes to warm up but no big deal; they were spacious though would have been nice to have some hooks for towels inside All in all, an incredible experience and would definitely return again!
