| - This complex is the worst and don't let them fool you with the "great new management company" that bought the buildings. My roommate and I had nothing but issues with our apartment from day one! The oven didn't work, the fridge ran constantly and would freeze food even on the lowest setting, sinks/drains were clogged, dishwasher was clogged, garbage disposal broken, one of the tanks on the toilet wasn't even attached and almost fell on my roommate and all of this happened within the first few days of living here! Still within the first month, the 3rd floor water heater pipe burst and our apartment flooded. The manager comped us $150... yeah right.. like that is sufficient. How about no first months rent since you were in our apartment almost every day fixing/replacing things! Recently (with the 'great new management') it has taken them over a week to come and unclog a drain (I was promised tomorrow-we shall see)... they are not prompt at all! The grounds are not well maintained/ sprayed we can't even use our patio because of all the spiders and bugs. If you need to speak to someone at the office, good luck! Most of the time there is a clock on the door indicating they will be back at a certain time... well when you come back it has been changed to a later time... and again. You should also know that they usually cut out before 6pm so don't count on them being there on your way home. There is a new woman in charge of the office (thanks to the new management), hopefully things will turn around a bit but I wont hold my breath. Oh, and not to mention- when the 'pool is closed' you cant use the "beautiful sitting area" in it because they lock the gate. They do seem to offer the cheapest rent in Cornelius, which is why I am staying a bit longer ( to save to buy something in the next year). But, I suppose you get what you pay for! Rent at your own risk!
