  • So... I've got a thing for street art, modern sculptures, and murals in the cities that I visit. I set my sights on The Green and grabbed my mom, grabbed Grammy, and headed downtown! I was looking for the skull (The Head) sculpture that has been gone for the longest, so I'm told. Not gonna' lie-- that news CRUSHED me! But, all wasn't lost as I enjoyed a few other sculptures that are still there and (although they're not a colorful, giant skull) pretty awesome! Seriously, google it and you'll understand my pain in missing it! (I digress.) The Green is well manicured and a perfect picnic/hang out spot in downtown Charlotte with great local art. After I cried, I truly enjoyed it!
