The Skinny: the 6 months follow-up review. Please see the initial review for more details about the school.
So my daughter has been enrolled in the Toddler's 2 program for 6 months and she has been doing great. We are amazed at all the new things she and her classmates learn every day. We drive 40 minutes a day to get her to and from school and we feel it is well worth it.
Looking ahead, we are really excited about the project based learning program as the kids get older. To be honest, it is a lot of work for the teachers to try and incorporate the curriculum based upon a topic that the kids are interested in. But the kids appear to love it.
From a parent's point of view, there isn't a lot of pressure to be super involved in the school. But if you are interested, they do offer opportunities to help out the school whether it's with time or donations. For example, we have culture weeks for the 2's class. They asked if family members could help provide some information about the family's culture and so that we could share it with the rest of the class.
Uniforms consist of the t-shirts that the children must wear Monday-Thursday. My kid's shirts have held up quite well over the last 6 months through many washings.
New things to note: they are closing their infant program however they are expanding up to grade 4 next year.
