Auto Mechanic, trust, fair, and honest are not words you usually see in the same sentence. Well they are now.

I had a crack in my radiator and called 5 different shops in and around Ahwatukee for an estimate but also decided to search on Yelp for alternatives.
Pricing I got back to replace the radiator, upper and lower hoses, thermastat, and coolant refill ranged from $748.00 (Big O, Foothills Parkway) all the way to $949.00 (Purcell Tire, Ray Rd). I understand that shops have to make money but 50-100% markup is outrageous!! (Purcell)
I had shopped the parts out myself online and it only came to around $330.00 with me doing the labor. Then I called Slaughter. I spoke with Brian and he shopped the parts out at his rates and gave me a quote for $464.00 including labor!!!!!
Dropped the car off the night before and they called by noon the next day that it was done. I inspected the work and it's first rate.
It's rare to find a mechanic these days that is not looking to charge a huge markup on parts and labor. I just might have to hang up my wrenches and turn over the work to Brian and the guys at Slaughter.
If you've read this far and read the other reviews, STOP YOUR SEARCH!!! Give Brian a call.
