| - A family visit to Fatheads Saloon...
We arrived and were greeted and seated promptly, and our waitress was prompt to greet us and get our drinks to the table. While the restaurant atmosphere is kid friendly, there is no kids menu. My kids are old enough to share and enjoy something off the kids menu, but for kids under 5 this may be an issue. Our service was great, our poor waitress had to check back with us at least 3 times before we were ready to order because there are so many choices it's really difficult to decide.
What we ate:
Order of fries: there was a good mix of crunchy, perfectly done and a little soggy for every fry preference, and the basket has tons of fries.
Order of chicken tenders: we ordered these for the kids to share. They were fine, nothing to write home about but glad they had them for the kiddos.
Plain cheeseburger: one of my kids is super picky, so a plain burger was all he wanted. The party was super thick and it looked like it would be an amazing base for one of their fancy burgers from the menu back page.
Bay of Pigs: hubby says it was yummy, with a touch of spicy. There was pulled pork, ham and pickles it was stacked high and he really enjoyed it.
Bovine Devine: I honestly don't even really know what was stacked on this huge sandwich, but it was delicious. I could've used a smidge more sauce, but it was delicious nonetheless.
Chips come with the sandwiches and they are homemade yumminess.
We also enjoyed 2 glasses each of beer, Headhunter for hubby and Bumbleberry for me. We both thought the drinks were delicious, and loved that we were able to grab a cold 4 pack for the road.
