| - Very unprofessional visit. Before I begin, I did not actually see the doctor so I cannot judge her personally. I can, however, judge the experience of the office visit.
I had an appointment at 3 PM , came in at about 2:50. At 5 PM, I am STILL waiting sitting in the lobby to see the doctor! I decided to walk out. Another patient's husband went up to the receptionist to ask what is taking so long and told the rest of us they had been waiting 2 and a half hours so far. The receptionist thinks she's cool with her "I don't give a f***" personality and just said to him, "I don't know. She's with a patient." without looking up from her computer. I don't know how you can hire someone so bratty to have them represent your office. She sucks.
I left as well and she just said "Ok" not at all giving a damn. Also, when a patient walks into a doctor's office, the front desk should ask for a name and appointment time. She never asked mine. That, and judging by what other reviews said, this office clearly doesn't care about your schedule, appointed visit time, or how long you wait. Horrible.
You can be the sweetest doctor in the world but unless you can cure AIDS, give us wings to fly, and help us lose 50 lbs by eating pizza and ice cream all day, you don't deserve a 2 hour wait time, Dr. Boyd. It's so disrespectful to have patients take time off work, drive out there, and wait for hours upon hours after their scheduled time.
Plus, the building is gross, smells like weed from the Medicinal Marijuana place next door, severely outdated, and plain ugly. I felt like showering just sitting in the waiting room.
Tips: Your office and staff represents your practice and Dr. Boys needs to update some things, hire a more professional and friendly receptionist, and at least try to respect and stay within people's appointments. A 2 hour wait means you overbooked your day. Time to rethink the way you do sh*t, lady.
