My friends have been raving about thus place for months. We finally made it out here to try it. The place was packed for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Good sign. We waited for about 15 minutes for a table. Feels like a large house turned into a restaurant. We were seated in s smaller room to the side. Only 2 servers working together. Both were hostesses and cashier and everything else st the same time. One took our drink order and ran off. Before drinks came the other server came over to take the order. Very rushy (is that a word)? I knew what I wanted from the awesome Yelper pics. So I explained to her that I was highly allergic to shellfish. Usually, actually, ALWAYS, when I mention the allergies, the servers go out of their way to make me feel welcomed. Always accommodate my needs and triple reassurance that my meal will be prepared and cooked separately and without contamination to any seafood. The server with a smirky and "not my problem " attitude told me that everything was prepared and marinated with fish sauce and contaminated with seafood while under preparation. Which I thought food preparation had to be separated. However, she then went on to tell me if u get hives I can't help u. If u need an epipen I can't help you. Her attitude was enough for my hubby and I to say thank you but we'll pass. And left to eat at a friendlier more accommodating Asian restaurant. Actually made me sad because the food looked so good but I'm not going to put my health in danger. And I will not let my allergies become a joke to unprofessional ppl. Had a nice lunch elsewhere.
