  • After years of being a customer, this business is still one of my favorites. This time I purchased potato cheese pierogies, which were regularly $11 for one dozen but were on sale for $7.70 because of the expiration date; a dozen frozen pierogies for $9; borscht for $8.50 per quart; haluszki for $8 per quart; and a dozen of kolaczki apricot cookies for $10 each. The fresh borscht was *just broth* (!), although the frozen borscht contained dumplings. Based on the ingredients, I definitely overpaid for the fresh borscht and haluszki. I am willing to continue to buy the pierogies and kolaczki because they make them better than I do.
