| - I have a soft spot for Olive and Ivy just because I have had a fantastic time here, every time I have come. With my fiancé, girl friends, and solo when I'm taking myself out to a fancy date :P. The ambiance is everything- I really like the music, the lighting, the décor. They have a nice bar with two TVs,and across from it,little community tables which are all open seating. The restaurant is quite large and there's plenty of seating inside and outside as well. The view whilst sitting outside is really pretty- they often have lights, you can see the bridge and canal, etc. The crowd is all ages- I love that everyone dresses up and makes an effort- whether it's families with toddlers, first dates or a group of friends. On weekends I think they have a DJ. I typically always get the all natural chicken and lamb meatballs- they're delicious. I've tried the flatbreads, and other chicken (can't remember the name) those were all good too. Their deserts change but all have been really delicious. The wine selection is ok, beer not so much, but the cocktails are pretty tasty. They also have a bakery/market at the other end with gelato. The bathrooms are always clean and the service is good. My only complaint is that they've started being a little stingy on their portions- dining in and take away. The wine pour is also small! But overall, still my top few places in Scottsdale.
