  • I had spent all week looking at menus and thought i found a solid Italian restaurant. I went here on a Saturday night with two friends. While i was less than enthused with my entree both of my friends loved theirs. We started our meal with the Calamari Fritti and was satisfied but not completely blown away. I was very excited when i saw they have wood fried pizza because that is always a fantastic dinner. I got the Margherita Pizza and was thoroughly disappointed. The crust was basically a cracker and the tomato sauce was just tomato paste with now seasoning. There was barely any mozzarella and basil so this was a solid C+ meal. My two friends were very happy with their meals. One of them got the Fettuccine Carbonaras and the other got the Pan Seared NC Trout. I got to try both and was very happy with each of them. The Fettuccine Cabonaras was super rich but not completely overwhelming. The trout was well cooked and a solid dish. I will definitely give Aria another shot but i will stay far away from the Pizza.
