We had dinner at Cleo last night for our 23rd wedding anniversary. We made an early reservation to avoid any holiday weekend crowd. Couldn't believe how empty this yummy place was. Since they knew it was our anniversary, it would have been nice to be seated at one of the lovely empty booths rather than a small table. Service was prompt and friendly. Pricey for a nearly vegetarian meal for 2 with no alcohol - over $100. Highlights: potato latkes, fried brussel sprout leaves, harira soup and the only non-vegetarian choice - the scallops. All delicious! Very disappointed with the house pickles - carrots, celery and cauliflower. For $5, we would have liked more creativity. No sweet white wine options. Spicy potatoes good. Grilled halloumi salad just okay. Dessert was fig & almond panacotta and flourless chocolate cake. Both were nice. I appreciated being able to order a decaffeinated cappuccino. Again, ambiance and service excellent and we really enjoyed ourselves. We would love to come back often but will have to remain a place for special occasions.
