| - I took 2 suits here to be cleaned. Neither one was particularly dirty, but I had some important meetings and I wanted my suits cleaned. Of the two suits I took in, one had a small spot on the lapel (which I pointed out when I dropped the suit off), the other had no visible spots.
When I picked up my suits a week later, the spot was still there, as if it hadn't been touched. The other (a $1000 Brooks Brothers suit) was heated too much, and the glue inside the half-canvas jack to melted and refused with bubbles.
When I picked the suits up, the lady told me it was not her fault, and it must just be a cheap suit jacket. Apparently Colonial Cleaners must only work on full-canvas $3k bespoke suits, since she thought the Brooks Brother's jacket was "cheap", and were unaware on how to clean a half-canvas suit jacket (which is strange since most suit jackets are at least partially fused lining)
I left the nervously left my now messed up jacket with the lady in hopes to remove the bubbles. When I got home I was able to take the spot out of the other jacket in about 10 seconds with small brush and water (equipment too sophisticated for the cleaners I guess).
To sum this up, I spent $50 to have one jacket ruined, and the other not cleaned. No apologies from the staff were ever made.
Look elsewhere for Dry Cleaning services.
