  • The last time I tried to Uber here, it was not allowed so I am glad to see that Uber has not come to LV. I do feel somewhat bad for the Taxi drivers that have done this for years. I am sure, Taxi's are going to change the way they do business. I will say that I love not having to get cash or the credit card out. Its all done for you on the app. I took two rides and both were under $15 and both drivers were really nice. I always love having a conversation with the drivers. You get so many different stories and experiences. I will say that I was having some drinks the night before at the Plaza and a young lady was telling me she had just started driving for Uber. She mentioned that if she needed cash, she could go out right now and drive. I hope she did not because she was WAY drunk. Both my drivers were sober and friendly. I assume the young lady at the bar made a wise decision and used the service herself.
