| - I cannot believe that anyone would pay money for their deemed attempt at "Sushi" or lackluster/overbearing chicken dishes. To start off, our group had made reservations and were shown a cute/quaint room, very cozy, very authentic...if only we knew of how long we would actually be spending in that room, our initial thoughts would beg to differ. The menu, though seemingly easy to comprehend, took the staff an eternity to order and/or put through. As the dishes slowly, I MEAN SLOWLY, exited the kitchen, we were stunned at the small portions and overall unattractiveness of the food. Nothing looked fresh, and the salad appeared as though it had been rotting from the inside out. The soup had a pungent stench to it, creating the fist bout of uneasiness in my stomach. As the night progressively got worse, the food service became slower and slower, grinding to a halt if you will. We got food we didn't order and had to fill out yet ANOTHER menu to place our order because apparently, nothing was going our way. A secondary server, who was neither fluent in French or English, made us aware that they would be closing soon and to pay at the counter. Following his satire and eye rolls, we refused, politely. To our dismay, we barely ate and refused to leave until we had done so.When and "IF" the food came it was repulsive beyond belief, I would barely classify it as 'food' and neither feed this to my dog or my worst enemy.
I, along with my group members, became terribly ill the next day, therefore, this ghastly excuse for a restaurant deserves almost no stars in my opinion. I would rather pay with rocks than pay with money, for that is what the food and service is worth. Please avoid this restaurant, there are a zillion better all you can eat sushi restaurants out there.
