Booked this hotel as part of a wedding weekend. They didnt put all of the wedding attendees together which was odd. No problem checking in and this hotel is centrally located to all things downtown. It is an oldish building but is well decorated and pretty clean. We stayed on 12 and didnt have trouble catching an elevator or having noise. Water pressure was excellent in the room as well. The staff for the most were attentive and helpful, especially the cleaning crew. My comments and criticisms:
1. I know you want us to park in your lot, but don't act oblivious when hotel guests ask about other options. It's annoying.
2. Have administrative ways to track things. There was no way to track the parking situation and we were told we get free wifi which was later rescinded. Ended up having to argue with some woman on the phone about it and getting a manager
3. The hotel itself is completely inaccessible (truly why i gave it two stars). There are stairs everywhere and no elevators or alternatives for folks with wheelchairs or walking difficulties. Getting from the door to the lobby was tough for no reason at all
4. Agree with the other reviews on the temperature. There are some archaic systems to control room temperature and it was still ineffective. One night was freezing, the next was blistering hot and we hadnt touched the temp.
Overall, pretty cheap option for a downtown hotel stay but if you can get a deal with a casino or other hotel, cant blame you.
