This place actually does feel like *my* market bakery. It's pretty close and has a large selection of tasty treats. Importantly, it's also cheap!
Great breads and fresh chewy bagels with a large selection of croissants/chocolate croissants etc. You get the best selection if you get there early-including my downfall: the cinnamon crunchies. $1.25 buys you a buttery, sugary cinnamon bun which is utterly addictive. I've never managed to get it home without attacking it out of the bag en route. Tip: they keep them in the same cabinet as the croissants etc over on the right.
The refrigerated display houses various little slices and cakes. They're all really competitively priced-most in the $1-2 range. Sadly, their cupcakes didn't impress and I haven't bought them again. The Naimo bar was tasty though.
Service is usually efficient and sometimes even with a smile.
Love this place as an antidote to the overpriced and/or mass produced stuff in bakeries elsewhere. It feels like real food!
