This review is based on my experience during the $4.11 cheese fondue special. I've been to this location of Melting Pot on several locations but have never reviewed it.
On this visit I made a reservation for 4 on OpenTable. I received an email from Melting Pot advertising their special cheese fondue for April 11th and 12th for $4.11. So I rushed to make a reservation because they always feel up. I was only able to reserve a table for 4.
Upon arriving we were quickly seated at our table and our server arrive no more than 3/4 minutes after we sat down. He went thru the spill and I advised him that this was a trail for my aunt and nephew to see if it was worth them coming back for the full fondue meal.
We ordered the Original World Champ cheese fondue and the Melting Pot House Salad. I also upgraded and got The Premium Cheese Fondue Dippers. This was a small platter of The Artisanal Italian Meats, tiny pickles and peppers for the cheese.
It wasn't long before our server was back with the salad and the cheese for the fondue pot. I got both the peppercorn ranch and the tangy house salad dressing on the side and mixed them both on the salad. It was a very nice blend and my nephew devoured the salad. Our cheese fondue had a white wine base, shallots, dion mustard and scallions. The flavor was very strong. It was a very mature taste and my nephew didn't eat much of it. The Artisanal Italian Meats came with tiny little pickles and sweet peppers. They really complimented the sharpness of the cheese.
Overall I'm very thankful for the cheese special and our server understanding this was a trail visit! I hate we didn't do a chocolate fondue but I will be back very soon for that.
