| - I am so disappointed with the way Becky Miller at Sonoran Naturopathic treated me and now I am out thousands of dollars due to her negligence.
I started with Becky over a year ago, mainly to see if she could help me to get my thyroid condition under control. At first I was very pleased as she seemed thorough. Then I began to feel like a guinea pig as every time labs were ordered, they would take up to 16 vials of blood on each draw and she was checking things that were not discussed with me at all. My insurance did not cover my office visits or all of the supplements that were pushed on me from Becky, however, I was reassured that all of the labs would be sent through my insurance company. At each visit, I presented Andrea with my insurance card. Also, in April, I made it clear to Becky that I was no longer interested in all of the digging she was doing as I was feeling pretty good, and to please just check my thyroid numbers to make sure that I'm on track with my dosage. She continued to add additional labs to my thyroid counts, against my wishes, and in June, I received 4,000 in bills for labs dating from March-June!!! I am sickened by this. I reached out to my insurance carrier and they told me they were no longer contracted with Labcorp (the lab Becky used for all of my labs), and if she would have sent my blood work to Theranos or Sonoran Quest, I would have been covered. I have emailed Becky and tried to call, of course I have gotten no response. Now we are trying to find out what recourse we have to get these thousands of dollars of labs paid for. Do NOT go to Sonoran Naturopathic unless you have thousands of dollars to throw away.
***I am editing in response to Becky's response below. I forwarded her the time-stamped correspondence that she claimed to never have received. Also, to make it clear, my main complaint was lack of energy. My symptoms were not "widespread, complex and seemingly unresponsive". Not only has she violated confidentiality of my case by discussing my "abnormal results" on a public forum, I also believe that Dr. Miller is trying to cover for herself rather than to take some accountability for the mess she has created for me and my family.
