  • Went for a Sat. family lunch, and Gaucho surpassed our high expectations, based on all the glowing reviews here. The "small" steak plates -- with salad & grilled bread -- are a great value, and our 9 y.o. devoured hers like a tiger. Mom loved her ribeye, and my hanger steak sandwich with roasted red peppers was perfect. We split sides of patatas bravas & yellow rice, ideal for mopping up the juices. Don't miss the salsas -- ajo and chimichurri were our favorites, but the pepper and the onion were both tasty & distinctive, too. The staff were terrific (helpful with a dash of humor), and the snug indoor eating space (a handful of stools and some standing room) is fun if you're willing to be flexible & friendly. We'll bring a bottle of tinto to take advantage of the BYOB policy next time!
