| - Alright, let me just say that I did have a good time last night. However, that was 100 percent due to the group of friends I was with. This place, from the moment we got there, was the biggest hassle. It was very busy, obviously, as it was NYE. We were a group of 6 who purchased tickets for the NYE party from 9pm to 3am. We arrived around 9 in order to avoid the crowds, as it was going to be -5 degrees Fahrenheit with windchill. Security was pushy, but this is understandable as it was busy and I understand they need to do their job. My problem, however, was with the extreme lack of communication between staff. Apparently there was another event going on that ended after ours technically began. We entered and checked our coats in, which took about 10 minutes as staff did not know that people from the next event would be coming in. Around 10, they started emptying the club, and we were forced to go back outside in sub zero temperatures without our coats. We had to have our tickets checked by the bouncer, who had no idea that people were checking in for the second event. Every single staff member was running around like a chicken with their heads cut off, with no idea what was going on. Not pleasant. The vibes were very negative and confrontational---not welcoming at all.
The venue itself was nice, and the bathrooms were clean. The drinks were definitely watered down, so we got shots mostly. It was $9 for lemon drops, about $10 for Jose Cuervo shots, and $25 for shots of patron. Prices were definitely higher for NYE, which is to be expected.
Overall, the place is about average, but the staff needs to communicate more and actually treat people with respect.
