  • I took a cocktail dress into Premier Cleaners & Laundry on Litchfield Rd in Surprise and showed the lady the detailing at the neckline. I asked if this would be a problem and she said no we would hand wash it. Because of this persons comments I felt my dress would be in good hands. I picked up the dress today and the detailing at the neckline was ruined. I noticed this before leaving the store. No one even brought the damage to my attention. They had my dress hanging in between my husbands suit jacket and his slacks. Maybe they were hoping I wouldn't see the damage. A lady was brought up front to speak to me. She said the person checking you in should have explained this could happen. I said we spoke specifically about the detailing and she said the dress will be hand washed no problem. The lady said she should have known better. She also said sometimes this can happen when it is washed on a gentle cycle. I started to say something and she caught herself and said no it was hand washed. The dress may/may not have been hand washed but someone ruined my dress either during the washing or when the dress was being steamed. I said I wore this dress one time and now it is ruined. The lady at Premier Cleaners & Laundry on Litchfield Rd did not even care. She said we have signs telling you this could happen. No apology or anything just too bad for you attitude. Before you take anything of value to Premier Cleaners & Laundry be sure you are willing to have it ruined. This establishment owes me a new cocktail dress.
