  • Yikes ... just stopped in to buy a few cupcakes for my brother's birthday. A woman (Nina?) yelled from the back "We'll be right with you" and then two young gentlemen came out to help me. However, I could hear the woman (Nina?) screaming at her staff in the back. It was incredibly uncomfortable. Perhaps she's know for being "sassy," but yelling at an employee "What the F@%& were you thinking?!" tells me these cupcakes weren't baked with love. What a strange ambiance for a seemingly pretty little bakery. I debated leaving without purchasing the cupcakes because I was so horrified by how she runs things, but honestly feared she'd yell at one of those sweet boys for losing a sale. So I bought them ... but I would never return to this place, no matter how good these cupcakes (which I haven't even tasted yet) are. If this is how she treats her staff when a customer is in the store, I can hardly imagine what she does to them without an audience.
