  • As old school fried chicken as it gets! Price's Chicken Coup is just a plain, simple, old as the city itself, brick store front that does fried chicken to perfection! You walk in to a counter top with ladies waiting to take your order, and you better be ready! Like the Seinfeld Soup Nazi, the line backs up quick, and they expect you to order quickly! Fried chicken served white or dark, whole or half bird, and there's shrimp and gizzards too! Sides of hush puppies and tater tots are offered, and like everything else it's fried! The batter is extremely light, which lets the juicy flavor shine throughout! There's no tables to sit down, and as you get your plain white cake box with your chicken inside, you realize your looking for a grassy spot somewhere to eat like your homeless!
