  • This is my first Yelp review. I'm not one for putting my opinion out there, but this place impressed me enough that I decided to stop being a Yelp voyeur and actually submit some feedback myself! This place is super cute and clean, and the customer service here is just great. The owner is very kind with newbies and will patiently go over the menu with you and explain the very unique house specials. Yo & I has the best service of any of the West Valley boba shops, without question. There is no pretension here and no standoffish hipster employees making you feel like you aren't cool enough to be in the place. The drinks here are standard boba tea shop fare, but Yo & I rises above, because their quality is high and CONSISTENT. When I order my favorite drink, it always tastes the same: delicious. As far as house specials, I definitely recommend the Volcano Green Tea. The famous "House Special" is definitely an acquired taste. It was good, but a very intense experience with a lot of different textures and favors all at once. Personally, it's the kind of thing I'm glad I tried once, but I won't try again. Grass jelly is not for me! But DO try it at least once!
