  • Oakmont Bakery has to been one of the best bakeries in the tri-state area, HANDS DOWN! This place is about ten minutes from my house, and I stopped there this morning to get goodies for a morning meeting. At 7:00am, there were still ten people in front of me. As soon as you walk in, there's a flat screen rotating the coffee menu and other bakery information, which was a nice modern touch. I waited patiently, scanning trays of goodies and that goes on forever. I decided on a dozen of their biscotti's; they seemed like a perfect fit for a coffee meeting! The cranberry almond was my favorite out of the bunch, but I didn't expect anything less. If you're in the northeast area of Pittsburgh, definitely put this on your list of places to check out!
