  • At first I did not like this store at all. its very nice inside, but I was not able to find anything I was looking for, fishing, hunting or shooting wise. I eventually settled on one of their reels instead of the one that I wanted. then my basspro spending spiraled out of control. I have an ascend h12 sitting in my living room. I frequently go here for fishing and kayaking gear and supplies. The marine section staff is very helpful, I don't know if the fishing section staff is not helpful or I always walk in at the wrong time but they are either mia or talking to someone. The hunting section, is helpful but they really do not have anything that I want. I went in looking for a mossberg 500 or a mossberg 30-30 and the clerk looked at me like I had asked the strangest question on earth. They apparently do not carry mossberg anything at this location. They do not carry AR parts, just accessories. They have reasonable prices on hunting scopes but for the most part I would not go here for hunting supplies, firearms or ammo. The hunting section is responsible for the one start deduction.
